A low-level client representing Amazon AppStream:

These are the available methods:

associate_fleet(**kwargs)

Associates the specified fleet with the specified stack.

Associates the specified users with the specified stacks. Users in a user pool cannot be assigned to stacks with fleets that are joined to an Active Directory domain.

can_paginate(operation_name)

Check if an operation can be paginated.

Parameters
operation_name (string) -- The operation name. This is the same name as the method name on the client. For example, if the method name is create_foo, and you'd normally invoke the operation as client.create_foo(**kwargs), if the create_foo operation can be paginated, you can use the call client.get_paginator("create_foo").
Returns
True if the operation can be paginated, False otherwise.
copy_image(**kwargs)

Copies the image within the same region or to a new region within the same AWS account. Note that any tags you added to the image will not be copied.

Parameters

    A unique name for the fleet.

  • ImageName (string) -- The name of the image used to create the fleet.
  • ImageArn (string) -- The ARN of the public, private, or shared image to use.
  • InstanceType (string) --

    The instance type to use when launching fleet instances. The following instance types are available:

  • FleetType (string) --

    The fleet type.

    ALWAYS_ON

    Provides users with instant-on access to their apps. You are charged for all running instances in your fleet, even if no users are streaming apps.

    ON_DEMAND

    Provide users with access to applications after they connect, which takes one to two minutes. You are charged for instance streaming when users are connected and a small hourly fee for instances that are not streaming apps.

  • ComputeCapacity (dict) --

    [REQUIRED]

    The desired capacity for the fleet.

    • DesiredInstances (integer) -- [REQUIRED]

      The desired number of streaming instances.

  • VpcConfig (dict) --

    The VPC configuration for the fleet.

    • SubnetIds (list) --

      The identifiers of the subnets to which a network interface is attached from the fleet instance or image builder instance. Fleet instances use one or two subnets. Image builder instances use one subnet.

      The identifiers of the security groups for the fleet or image builder.

  • MaxUserDurationInSeconds (integer) -- The maximum time that a streaming session can run, in seconds. Specify a value between 600 and 360000.
  • DisconnectTimeoutInSeconds (integer) -- The time after disconnection when a session is considered to have ended, in seconds. If a user who was disconnected reconnects within this time interval, the user is connected to their previous session. Specify a value between 60 and 360000.
  • Description (string) -- The description to display.
  • DisplayName (string) -- The fleet name to display.
  • EnableDefaultInternetAccess (boolean) -- Enables or disables default internet access for the fleet.
  • DomainJoinInfo (dict) --

    The name of the directory and organizational unit (OU) to use to join the fleet to a Microsoft Active Directory domain.

    • DirectoryName (string) --

      The fully qualified name of the directory (for example, corp.example.com).

  • Tags (dict) --

    The tags to associate with the fleet. A tag is a key-value pair, and the value is optional. For example, Environment=Test. If you do not specify a value, Environment=.

        The maximum time that a streaming session can run, in seconds. Specify a value between 600 and 360000.

      • DisconnectTimeoutInSeconds (integer) --

        The time after disconnection when a session is considered to have ended, in seconds. If a user who was disconnected reconnects within this time interval, the user is connected to their previous session. Specify a value between 60 and 360000. By default, this value is 900 seconds (15 minutes).

      • State (string) --

        The current state for the fleet.

      • VpcConfig (dict) --

        The VPC configuration for the fleet.

        • SubnetIds (list) --

          The identifiers of the subnets to which a network interface is attached from the fleet instance or image builder instance. Fleet instances use one or two subnets. Image builder instances use one subnet.

create_image_builder(**kwargs)

Creates an image builder. An image builder is a virtual machine that is used to create an image.

The initial state of the builder is PENDING . When it is ready, the state is RUNNING .

Adds or overwrites one or more tags for the specified AppStream 2.0 resource. You can tag AppStream 2.0 image builders, images, fleets, and stacks.

Each tag consists of a key and an optional value. If a resource already has a tag with the same key, this operation updates its value.

To list the current tags for your resources, use ListTagsForResource . To disassociate tags from your resources, use UntagResource .

Updates the specified fleet.

If the fleet is in the STOPPED state, you can update any attribute except the fleet name. If the fleet is in the RUNNING state, you can update the DisplayName and ComputeCapacity attributes. If the fleet is in the STARTING or STOPPING state, you can't update it.

          Provide users with access to applications after they connect, which takes one to two minutes. You are charged for instance streaming when users are connected and a small hourly fee for instances that are not streaming apps.

Creates an iterator that will paginate through responses from AppStream.Client.list_associated_fleets().

Parameters
  • StackName (string) --

    [REQUIRED]

    The name of the stack.

  • PaginationConfig (dict) --

    A dictionary that provides parameters to control pagination.

    • MaxItems (integer) --

      The total number of items to return. If the total number of items available is more than the value specified in max-items then a NextToken will be provided in the output that you can use to resume pagination.

    • PageSize (integer) --

      The size of each page.

    • StartingToken (string) --

      A token to specify where to start paginating. This is the NextToken from a previous response.

The available waiters are:

Polls AppStream.Client.describe_fleets() every 30 seconds until a successful state is reached. An error is returned after 40 failed checks.

    A dictionary that provides parameters to control waiting behavior.

    • Delay (integer) --

      The amount of time in seconds to wait between attempts. Default: 30

    • MaxAttempts (integer) --

      The maximum number of attempts to be made. Default: 40
