get_default_credit_specification#

EC2.Client.get_default_credit_specification(**kwargs)#

Describes the default credit option for CPU usage of a burstable performance instance family.

Request Syntax

response = client.get_default_credit_specification(
    DryRun=True|False,
    InstanceFamily='t2'|'t3'|'t3a'|'t4g'
)
Parameters:
  • DryRun (boolean) – Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

  • InstanceFamily (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The instance family.

Response Structure

  • (dict) –

    • InstanceFamilyCreditSpecification (dict) –

      The default credit option for CPU usage of the instance family.

      • InstanceFamily (string) –

        The instance family.

      • CpuCredits (string) –

        The default credit option for CPU usage of the instance family. Valid values are standard and unlimited.
