ValidationException#

class WellArchitected.Client.exceptions.ValidationException#

The parsed error response. All exceptions have a top level Error key that provides normalized access to common exception atrributes. All other keys are specific to this service or exception class.

Structure

  • (dict) –

    The user input is not valid.

    • Message (string) –

      Description of the error.

    • Reason (string) –

      The reason why the request failed validation.

    • Fields (list) –

      The fields that caused the error, if applicable.

      • (dict) –

        Stores information about a field passed inside a request that resulted in an exception.

        • Name (string) –

          The field name for which validation failed.

        • Message (string) –

          Description of the error.

    • Error (dict) – Normalized access to common exception attributes.

      • Code (string) – An identifier specifying the exception type.

      • Message (string) – A descriptive message explaining why the exception occured.
