delete_subnet#

EC2.Client.delete_subnet(**kwargs)#

Deletes the specified subnet. You must terminate all running instances in the subnet before you can delete the subnet.

Request Syntax

response = client.delete_subnet(
    SubnetId='string',
    DryRun=True|False
)
Parameters:
  • SubnetId (string) –

    [REQUIRED]

    The ID of the subnet.

  • DryRun (boolean) – Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is DryRunOperation. Otherwise, it is UnauthorizedOperation.

Returns:

None

Examples

This example deletes the specified subnet.

)
